Located in one of the most accessible and peaceful neighborhoods of the medina, near to the souks, Jemma el Fna square, and Gueliz, the modern city. Riad Les Yeux Bleus invites you to discover the magic of this historical residence that transports visitors to another time and place and provides a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere in a city that never sleeps. The craftsmanship of the ancient sculptured cedar doors and ceilings and intricate mosaic and zellige designs and patterns that litter the residence add to the authentic experience of this palace.

Appointment of the riad…
Comprised of two neighboring riads, the Riad Les Yeux Bleus proposes eight double guest rooms, six of which can be arranged as twin rooms. All guest quarters are individually decorated and have private lounge areas. Bathrooms are constructed with traditional tedlakt. The Riad Les Yeux Bleus is available as a private rental of the 8 rooms and both patios, and both riads are available as individual rentals upon request. Please note that public areas are shared by guests in both riads, even if one of the riads is rented as a private rental.

The “Riad Les Yeux Bleus – Patio Pool” includes five double rooms, Moroccan salons, a large patio with an exquisitely decorated swimming pool and a rooftop terrace.
The “Riad Les Yeux Bleus – Patio Fountain” includes three double rooms, Moroccan salons, a large patio with a beautiful marble fountain and a rooftop terrace.

Patio and swimming pool … The patio, the center of life in a riad, is planted with rich vegetation and covered in mosaic patterns and designs.

Moroccan lounges are situated under the open air galleries and provide relaxing corners for reading, tea-time, meals… The Rooftop terraces and solarium provide spectacular views over the historical medina, the rooftop terrace is open for visitors for breakfast, regenerating sunbathing, romantic candlelit dinners, cocktails, whatever you wish …

Savours and flavours …“When the pleasures of gastronomy add to the rest of the mind”… Traditional meals are available upon request and are lovingly and expertly prepared with fresh ingredients from the local markets. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available on the rooftop terrace, poolside, or in the Moroccan lounges.

All rooms are air conditioned and have private bathrooms constructed in tedlakt. The riad can accommodate up to 16 people.

Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Policy :
Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room costs.

Cancellations received 11-20 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.

Cancellations received 0-10 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.

In the event of a private rental of one of the riads, please be advised that the public spaces (patio, salons, terrace ...) are at the disposition of guests staying in the two riads, these areas are shared.

During the holiday season, 23/12 through 03/01 (inclusive), a 50% of the total projected room charges must be paid by bank wire/transfer to the property.
Cancellation policies for bookings made for the period December 23rd to January 3rd are : from J-30 to arrival days - cancellation fee is 100% of the remaining amount due to the property
