Comprised of ten bedrooms and suites, La Maison Rouge is situated around a vast central patio planted with orange trees. A swimming pool measuring 9m is located on the rooftop terrace that provides spectacular views over the Royal Palaces and the historical medina. A bar, summer dining room and Moroccan salon are also at your disposition on the rooftop terrace.

The Riad Maison Rouge is located in a calm quarter that is only a 10 minute walk from the Place Djema el Fna. Accessible by car.

NEW ! A Hammam and a massage room will open in the riad at the end October 2008.

CHILDREN
Because of the house's traditional architecture La Maison Rouge is possibly dangerous for young children, besides, the pool has no attendant. Children are welcome from 10 years old.

Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of a reservation cancellation, the Maison Rouge will apply the following cancellation policy and will charge any applicable fees to the client credit card used during the reservation process :
-Cancellations received 21-30 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 11-20 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of total projected room costs.
-Cancellations received 0-10 days before the confirmed arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of total projected room costs.

Cancellation fees will be charged to the credit card supplied during the reservation process.
