Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

Riyad Al Moussika, Situated in the ancient medina of Marrakech, five minutes walk from place Jemâa El Fna, with one of the three entrances approachable very closely by car and with a parking area; the property, once one of the residences of the former Pasha of Marrakech, Thami El Glaoui, has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with rigorous respect for the Andalusian style, whilst paying great attention to modern accessories in order to obtain the highest levels of comfort.
Six double bed rooms and one single room, all with a bath in suite have been created for the guests.
Prices are inclusive of breakfast, lunch, (hors d’oeuvre, main course and dessert), the tea times with home made Moroccan patisseries, all non alcoholic beverages, a foreign newspaper a day, the access to the hammam and the library, maid services and taxes.
One of the gates of Riyad Al Moussika opens onto a garden with, among other trees, two centenary old cypresses soaring to the sky, a huge bougainvillea climbing across the pergolas, a swimming pool, in the centre or, more precisely, an Andalusia basin thirteen meters long, tiled with a mosaic carpet design. Here water falls from a white Carrara marble fountain to the songs of numerous small birds creating an idyllic scenario, in spite of being in the heart of central medina.

| The Riyad Al Moussika is available as a private holiday rental and can accommodate up to 11 guests. The rate includes all detailed services (breakfast, lunch, tea time, airport transfers). A minimum stay of 3 nights is required for exclusive rentals of the Riyad Al Moussika, with the exception of the Christmas and Easter seasons when a minimum stay of 7 nights is required. It is possible to add additional beds in the Double and Deluxe guestrooms. The cost for additional bedding is 50% of the double deluxe room rate for an adult or children 12 years or older, 40% of the standard room rate for children between 6 and 12 years old, 25% for children 3 to 6 years old and children under 3 years of age are free. | ||

RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservation Conditions:
A minimum rental of 3 nights and 7 days over Easter or Christmas/New Year is requested.
Cancellation Policy:
If clients wish to pay their room charges with a credit card they will be subject to a 3.5% service fee. This service fee does not apply to the 20% guarantee deposit paid at the time of booking and is only applicable to credit card payments made directly to the property.
