Moroccan riads ‘guesthouses’ have to collect 2 taxes upon their guests:
- Tourism Promotion Tax (TPT): the amount of the tax depends on the property category, 8 or 11 dirhams per people per night. That tax is collected by the properties and integrally put back into Morocco National Tourist Office.
- City Tax (from January 2008): like the hotels and restaurants, ‘guesthouses’ must now collect the City tax. The amount of the City tax is 15 dirhams per people (older than 12 y-o) and per night.

| The Dar Hanane is available as a private rental and can accommodate 12 - 16 people. Accommodations include 4 double rooms and 2 suites, all with private bathrooms. Bedding can be arranged as 6 doubles + 2 twins or 6 twins + 4 doubles). Communal spaces include the patio, a living room with a fireplace. A staff member will be onsite to look after your group. For a private rental, the riad will charged a 50% deposit not refundable
More than 30 days before arrival - 30% deposit refunded
10 - 30 days before arrival - 30% deposit not refunded
Less than 10 days before arrival - 100 % of total price charged
If clients wish to pay their room charges with a credit card they will be subject to a 5 % service fee (tax charged by Moroccan Central Bank).
