Azzouna 13 has been renovated in the purest Moroccan tradition. Stucco, woodwork and wrought iron have recovered their historical and original beauty.
The Riad offers a big patio with two “Bhou”, traditional exterior lounges around a refreshing fountain, a living room with a fireplace for the wintery evenings, five rooms all with en-suite tadelakt bathroom in the most sober style. A big terrace with multiple lounging areas covers the housetop and offers great views towards the Atlas Mountains and the Koutoubia – the ideal place to relax after a day in the busy souks.
One of the best cooks of Marrakech is available at Azzouna 13 to prepare lunch and diners upon request with fresh products coming directly from the markets.
A traditional Hammam space built within the riad will invite you to discover Moroccans original beauty rituals and make your stay a true relaxation.

| We loved the authentic Moroccan feel of the ryad and loved Sadik (front of house) who was very helpful. On arriving we thought that the plastic rain collecting tube in the centre of the courtyard was a bit of an eyesore but the place was beautiful especially at night. Supper and breakfast was wonderful, compliments to the cooks. The location was central but finding your way back to it, particularly at night was a bit worrying. | ||

| The service was absolutely superb. The Riad Manager Sadik gave us world class service and the staff did an excellent job to keep us happy. Really there was nothing that we asked for or they could do that they didn't do flawless for us. Sadik was available all the time and helped us with anything that we asked for or needed and this always with a happy face and great smile. I have not even seen in international 5-star hotels that they unpack your bags and make your room nice (hang your clothes in the closet, putting your shoes together in the closet, putting your toilet products together in your bag in the bathroom etc. It felt more like a butler service and normal room service. We are all very satisfied. We were a family of 9 with members from 19-80 years old and had the entire Riad for ourselves. /Jamak Rezaie | ||

| Azzouna 13 is a stunning riad. The owner has done a wonderful job in restoring this house. It is so beautiful and tasteful. Every corner is a visual feast for the eye. The manager Tarik was very helpful and friendly. We had the most wonderful evening meal. Thank you so much! | ||

| I stayed in Azzouna 13 for one night and 3 nights in Zaouia. Both riads were absolutely fabulous. I could not ask for anything more. I loved it. The restoration of these riads is inspirational. The breakfast lovely and the dinner superb. The best meal I had in Marrakech. | ||

| We really loved our stay at Azzouna 13. Everything was really good thought. All the details, from cups to bedlinen, from floor to ceiling, made our stay comfortable and peacefull between the vibrant street life of the city. We definitly will recommend this place to others who would like to visit Marrakech. In one word FABULOUS! | ||

| From the moment we walked through the door from a nondescript alley way into the serenity and calm of Azzouna13 we knew we had struck Moroccan gold. Made warmly welcome by the always attentive house manager, Sadiq, everything about our stay was magical. From the exquisite meal on our arrival to the leisurely breakfasts on the roof terrace overlooking the medina to the quiet peace of our afternoon siestas every moment spent in this oasis was a joy. Only a few minutes walk from the souks and well placed for the Jmaa el Fna and the centre I couldn't recommend this beautifully designed and furnished haven enough. | ||

| I firstly search for Riads with Splash pools, don’t be tempted away from this jewel for the following reasons: Sophie, the French owner, is an architect by trade and has restored this as a labour of love. No corners have been cut and this raid has been restored to its former glory from both an architectural and interior design perspective. I took my parents and sister and had the most wonderful stay. It’s an urban oasis in the middle of the Medina madness. It’s a real treat to come back here each day. The other residents were all repeat customers who had stayed in one of Sophie’s riads on a number of occasions. The staff are impeccable, speaking 5 languages fluently, creating a welcoming and informative hosts. If you’re a ‘Wallpaper guide’ tourist like were, this is the place that will tick all your boxes. Enjoy. Howard | ||
